She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Tinney and Louise Tinney (Andrews); her husband Wallace "Wally" Phillips; her brothers, Jack and Bill Tinney; and her son-in-law Lynn Chapman.

She is survived by : her children, Marjorie Chapman of Conneaut and Douglas Phillips (Nancy) of Conneaut; her granddaughters, Marcy and Sarah; and her great grandchildren, Devyn, Peyton and Norah.
