She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hockenberry and Effie Hockenberry (Hooven); her husband Paul "Butch" Goodenow; and her siblings, Geraldine "Terry" Blaser, Bill Schreckengost, Addie McCann, Stella Nelson, Bill Hockenberry and Kenny Hockenberry.

She is survived by: her children, Janice Ivey (Jeff) of New Braunfels, TX, Paula Palagyi (Edward) of Conneaut, OH, David Goodenow (Heather) of Greenville, OH and Mary Goodenow of Geneva, OH; her siblings, Marge Craig and Jim Hockenberry; her grandchildren, Dan, Ray, Emily Ivey, Jessica Brisley, Krystal Palagyi and Benjamin Goodenow; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Kayden McCoy and Greyson Palagyi.
