She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy S. Brand and Dorothy M. Brand (Wagner); her husband Randall Roy Skiver; her children, Stanley Skiver and Beverly Siefker; and her siblings, Verna Brand-Thompson, Erma Brand, Evelyn Ellis, Betty Jean Brand, Harold Brand, Alice Brand and Priscilla Brand.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Skiver (Marijo) of Kokomo, IN, Allan Skiver (Kathy) of Ayersville, Jerry Skiver (Tammy) of Defiance, Tony Skiver (Dawn) of Defiance and Jannette Kubica (Robert) of Defiance; her children-in-law, Sandi Skiver and Dean Siefker; and her in-laws, Betty Brand and Kay Thomas. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heitmeyer Funeral Home (207 W Rice St, Continental, OH 45831). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.
