She was predeceased by: her parents, Cary Shank and Hettie Shank (Parson); her husband E. Eugene Kern; and her brothers, Gaylen Shank and Glen Shank.
She is survived by: her children, Philip Kern (Brenda) of Continental, Becky Perrine (Butch) of Elida and Laura Lammers of Continental; and her grandchildren, Heather Sanchez (Jesse), Jeff Kern, Jacob Perrine (Jenny), Alyssa Lieurance (Doug), Gabriel Perrine and Isaac Lammers (Megan). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Heitmeyer Funeral Home - Continental (207 W Rice St, Continental, OH 45831). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to any Humane Society.
