Leona I. Salyers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona I. Salyers of Continental, Ohio, who passed away on July 28, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leona I. Salyers to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Salyer and Faye Salyer (Sullivan); her spouse Evert L. Salyers; her son Allen Salyers; her granddaughter Samantha Salyers; her great grandchild River Mahan; and her siblings, Bill, Johnny, Macarthur, Chuck, Harold Salyer, Naomi Porter, Wilma Brashear, Della Bevins, Nell Dockery and Carol Salyer.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Salyers of Versailles, Patricia Morrison (Eric) of Continental, Thomas Salyers (Julie) of Evansport and Harold Salyers (Lovella) of Lima; and her sisters, Lo Jean Schroeder (Dan) of Ottawa and Judy Salyer of Hicksville. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heitmeyer Funeral Home - Continental (207 W Rice St, Continental, OH 45831). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
