With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Wendell Gibson (Convoy, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Wendell Gibson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Helen Feasby Geis and Luther Dale Gibson; his sister Marlene Gibson Pierce; and his sons, Brent (Amber), Bart (Sue), Berry (Angie), Terry (Aimee) and Tom (Chris).
He is survived by: his wife Kay Lynn; his grandchildren, Tyler (Elizabeth), Jordan (Mckenzie), Nick (Kristin), Phillip, Ross, Dallis (Rachel), Lucas, Casey (Ericka), Trevor, Justin (Kelsey), Jared (Tommi) and Joshua (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Mason, McKenna, Wyatt, Marleen, Lainey and Collette.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Calendar Countryside Chapel Church (3474 Mentzer Church Rd, Convoy, OH 45832). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests trees in Jim's memory. Donations may also be made to Sugar Ridge Church of God or The Gideon's International.
