She was predeceased by : her parents, Oley Everett and Elsie Mae Derenberger Hughes; her husband Howard Wayne Owens; and her son-in-law Gary McGee. She is survived by : her children, Shelia I. McGee of Belpre, Paul W. Owens (Janice) of Coolville, Reverend Howard E. Owens (Regenia) of Sumter, SC and Benjamin O. Owens (Carol) of Coolville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
