He is survived by: his wife Mary Spears; his sister June Miller; his children, Trent Spears (Susanne), Mechelle Shanks (Eric) and Rodney (Jimmy) Spears (Lyn Everett); and his grandchildren, Jessi Beha (Ben), Kacie Arpin (Chris), Seth Spears (Melissa), Kaitlin Engle (Zachary) and Kyle Shanks (Kayla). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
