It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Jo Griffin of Coolville, Ohio, born in Guysville, Ohio, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Hugh Kayser and Pearl Swisher Kayser; her husband Myrle "Sonny" Griffin; her granddaughter Angela Joy Clark; and her brothers, John Kayser, William Kayser and Meade Kayser (Rosemary).

She is survived by : her children, Robert Larry Giffin (Anna Faye) of Coolville, OH, Yvonne Griffin of Coolville, OH, Brenda Clark of Coolville, OH, Linda Kaye Lynch of Hutto and Susan Quinn (Mike) of Torch, OH; her sisters-in-law, Dee Kayser of Lima, OH, ShirleyGriffin of Las Vegas, NV and Pam Spence (Marty) of Parkersburg, WV; her grandchildren, Brent, Glen, Keith Griffin, David, Brian Lynch, Austin, Clinton Quinn, Tricia Beall and Amanda Fairchild; and her great grandchildren, Cody Waller, Jamie Beall, Trent Fairchild, Daniel, Jude, Ezra Griffin, Hannah, Sarah, Abi, Kyra and Amber Griffin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made in Mary Jo's memory to the Women's Care Center of Parkersburg or the Pregnancy Resource Center of Athens.
