He is survived by: his wife Becky Waldrip Johnson; his daughter Jennifer Donnelly (Steve) of Marietta; his stepsons, John Wardrip of Stockport and Jereme Wardrip of Zanesville; and his siblings, Andy Parsons of Athens and Peggy Kennedy of Chesterhill. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
