He is survived by : his wife Carol Herges; his children, Larry Herges (Kelly), Michael Herges (Alison), Christopher Herges (Rose) and Melinda Givens (Bradley); his grandchildren, Alex Herges, Nolan Herges, Dakota Herges, Derek Herges (Destiny), Darcie Herges, Maddie Givens and Benjamin Givens; and his grandson-in-law Dakota Simms.
