She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Garner and Corma Garner; her husband Edgar; her son Stephen Ferrebee; her grandson Tyler Byers; her sisters, Shirley Towner and Ella Ruth Walton; and her son-in-law Ken Howard.

She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Howard and Susan Cunningham (Owen); her grandchildren, Steven Waltenbaugh, Kenny Waltenbaugh, Nathanial Ferrebee, Stephanie Ferrebee and Aaron Byers; her great grandchildren, Luke and Isabel Byers; and her brother Marion "Buck" Garner (Pat).
