We announce the death of Colleen Tokash (Cortland, Ohio), who passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 98. Colleen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred "Jessie" Lefebvre and Antoinette; her former husband Joseph Perry; her husband Frank Tokash; her children, Paulette Savon (Bob) and Jonathan Keefer Jr. (Terrie); and her cousin Albert Romain (Donna).
She is survived by: her sibling Lefebvre; her daughter Daniece Moore (Chuck) of Cortland, Ohio; and her stepchildren, Frank Tokash (Cynthia) of Hudson, Anna Johnson (Greg) of Texas and Canice Tokash of Niles, Ohio. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and many dear friends.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, after the heartbreaking loss of her son and being unable to travel to Oregon, Colleen found comfort and purpose in serving others.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that acts of kindness be performed in her memory, honoring the servant-hearted life she lived so beautifully.
