It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn L. Seljan of Cortland, Ohio, who passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gwendolyn L. Seljan to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Gwendolyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gwendolyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Whipkey and Genevieve Whipkey (Moose); and her brother William Whipkey. She is survived by: her husband Harry "Art" Seljan; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Whipkey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home (533 N Park Ave, Warren, OH 44481). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any material contributions be made to the Salvation Army, in her memory.
