He is survived by: his wife Maxine Mamott; his children, Douglas Barnes, Walter Barnes (Celeste), Matthew Barnes (Jim) and Kelly Fannin (Ben); his grandchildren, Nathan Kirk, Garret Braden, Karl Fannin, Tobias Fannin and Emma Fannin; and his siblings, David Barnes and Bonnie Jean Smutek.
