He is survived by: his wife Maxine Mamott; his children, Douglas Barnes, Walter Barnes (Celeste), Matthew Barnes (Jim) and Kelly Fannin (Ben); his grandchildren, Nathan Kirk, Garret Braden, Karl Fannin, Tobias Fannin and Emma Fannin; and his siblings, David Barnes and Bonnie Jean Smutek.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church (4659 OH-46, Cortland, OH 44410). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
