He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ross and Mary Ann Ross (Birmely); his siblings, Joyce Norman, Rita Diane Van Fossen, Roger Ross and Gary Ross; and his brother-in-law Dave Buxton.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ross (Dilly) of Coshocton; his stepchildren, Jamie McCurdy of Coshocton, Jason McCurdy (Angela) of Coshocton and Jenny McCurdy (Josh) of Coshocton; his grandchildren, Jaylynn, Macy, Kendrick, Jayla, Javen, Jace, Jersey and Jaze; his sister Patricia Ross of Georgia; and his parents-in-law, David Dilly (Patty), Betty Buxton, Frank Dilly (Cathy), Trecia Atwood, Laura Grogro (Henry), Kathy Cunnigham (Jeff), Connie Bratton (Jim) and Michelle Murphy.
