He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bell and Nellie Bell (McGinnis). He is survived by: his wife Renée Bell (Tennant); and his siblings, Richard Bell (Debra) of West Lafayette and JoAnn Williams (Jim) of Newcomerstown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He participated in many poker charity runs, riding for Akron's Children's Hospital and other organizations supporting children.
