He was predeceased by: his father James C. Nelson; and his siblings, Loanne Brazier (Don) and Lizette James. He is survived by: his wife Frances E. Nelson (Wright); his sons, Jimmy, Scott Nelson (Jennifer) and Ross Nelson (Darcy); his grandchildren, Derek, Madelyn, Tucker, Judah, Brooklyn, Addy and Luke; his great grandchildren, Mallory and Keyari; and his brother Dan Nelson (Linda).
