It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Shample (Coshocton, Ohio), who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Karen leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Riley and Norma Jean Riley (Thomas); and her sister Nancy Murray (Riley). She is survived by: her sons, Jamie "Shamp" Shample of Coshocton and Mark "Frog" Shample (Tonia) of Arizona; her niece Kim Roof (Stoke); and her sister Debbie Riley-Dawson.
