Louella Mears Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louella Mears of Coshocton, Ohio, who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Pettet and Ocea McGill Pettet; her husband Alfred Mears; her son John Mears; her son-in-law Bill Brown; and her siblings, Walter Pettet (Hazel), Albert Pettet, Phillip Pettet, Marie Mears and Ernest Pettet.
She is survived by: her children, Lena Kline (Edward), Ruth Brown, Wanda Shaffer (Donald), Diana Cavinee (Mark), Rebecca Duncan (Mike), Martha Mears and Anthony Mears (Judy); her sister Sylvia Jividen (John); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Pettet, Gloria Pettet and Cora Mae Pettet. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home (304 Mill St, New Lexington, OH 43764). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the Zion Cemetery.
