He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis House; his parents, Jarold House and Margaret House (Wohlheter); and his brothers, Bobby House and Wayne House.

He is survived by: his brother Alvie House of Cleveland; his cousin Beverly Ramsey (Dave) of Warsaw; his stepson Kevin Clark (Patty) of South Carolina; and his grandchildren, Caci Kostik (Alex), Jessica Shrimplin (Trey), Sarah Cotterman (RJ) and Brian Bourne. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the South Lawn Cemetery (1401 Cemetery Dr, Coshocton, OH 43812).
