He was predeceased by: his parents, Irwin David and Betty Eleanor Frye (Way); his brother-in-law James Ellis; and his nephew Cory Ellis. He is survived by: his sister Sharon Ellis of West Lafayette; and his nieces and nephews, James Ellis (Rhonda), Wendy Fluharty (Brad), Gerald Frazier, Sue Gilbert, David Frye and Clint Frye.
