He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul F. Schonauer and Anna Schonauer (Reiss); and his siblings, William Schonauer, James Schonauer and Carole Mohler.
He is survived by: his wife Lorene L. Schonauer (Chapman); his sons, Mick Schonauer (Julie) of Columbus, Doug Schonauer (Robin) of Walhonding and Brian Schonauer (Kristi) of Coshocton; and his grandchildren, Derek Schonauer (Tania), Evan Schonauer (Chasidi), Brant Schonauer (Sady), Bryan Schonauer (Jayla) and Lauren Johnson (Nick).
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 23891 Airport Rd, Coshocton, OH 43812. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
