He was predeceased by : his pet Sparky; his daughter Michelle Lynn Palser; his parents, Cecil Palser and Ruby Palser; and his sister Edith (Corky).

He is survived by : his wife Nancy; his children, Teresa May-Benson (late Adrian), Robert May, Jr., Chris Palser (Pam), Paul Palser (Dawn) and Craig Palser (Kim); and his nephews, Rhys Benson, Justin Palser, Nathanael Palser, Josh Messaros, Richard Meyer and John Meyer.
