He was predeceased by: his former wife Jennie Wolfe (Whitmer); his niece Jennifer Wray; and his brother-in-law James Lichtenfels. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Wolfe (Johnston); his children, Alicia (Rike Miller), Gary Russell "Rusty" Carder of Covington, Marcella (Randy Hartman), Jessica Parker (Michael Kesler) and Heather Wolfe (Jeremy Ward); his grandchildren, Jordan Wolfe (Cheyenne Emery), Meredith Wolfe, Brooke Hartman (Efrain Velez), Zachary "Zack" Hartman, Jenna Parker and Quentin Parker; his great grandchildren, Maisie, Annabelle, Dixie and River; his siblings, Sharon (David Wray), Sandy (David Wells), Ben (Pam Wolfe) and LaVena Lichtenfels of Yellow Springs, OH; and his pet Ranger. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Covington Fire & Rescue, Covington BUCC Boosters, or Covington Church of the Brethren.
