We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2023, at the age of 82, John Battisti DiPietro of Crestline, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Emidio DiPietro and Josephine DiPietro (Campanella); his sister Frances DiPietro; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Niedermyer, Martin J. Malatin and John J. Malatin.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara DiPietro (Malatin); his brother Joseph DiPietro (Cheryl) of Indianapolis, IN; his sister-in-law Delores Malatin of Waterford, MI; his nieces and nephews, Andrea O'Neill (Terrence) of Fort Wayne, IN, Jan Pfister (Jeff) of Indianapolis, IN, Denise Halaska of Pearland, TX, Jodi Ruiz of Waterford, MI, Martin B. Malatin of Waterford, MI and Bruce Niedermyer; his great-niece Faith Pfister; his great-nephews, James O'Neill, Andrew O'Neill, John Flewallen, Jake Halaska and Frank Pfister; and his sister Denise Belcastro of Crestline.

The family kindly asks for memorial contributions in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crestline, or Crestline High School Athletic Dept., in care of the funeral home.
