It is with sadness that the passing of Larry Swain of Crestline, Ohio is shared. Larry, born on March 30, 1941, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Larry will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Larry by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Larry is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Larry’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Swain, and Stella Swain, Sr. (Skidmore); and his siblings, Paul Swain, Jr. and Jessie Hohenbrink. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Patti Swain (Messenger); his daughters, Shelley and Lisa Swain; and his brothers, Jim and Tom Swain.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Point Church (683 Portland Way N, Galion, OH 44833). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 488, or the VFW Post 2920 both of Crestline.
