With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Edward Kanable Jr. of Crestline, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 13, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Edward Kanable Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kanable, Sr. and Donna Smith (Brinkman); his stepfather Millard "Mig" Smith; and his grandchild Kirstin Carnes. He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Kanable (Hoover); his children, Tina James (John) of Piqua, Chad Kanable (Laura) of Canton and Taryn Hutton (Jeremy) of Caledonia; his grandchildren, Jackie Swartz, Karissa Carnes, Spencer James, Parker James, Otis Hutton and Lennon Hutton; his great grandchildren, Sophia Kershner, Bentley Kershner, Evelynn Thomas and Lucca Thomas; and his sisters, Karen Grau (Dick) of Bucyrus and Kathy Orewiler (Lee) of Bucyrus.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion, Post 181 (123 E Rensselaer St, Bucyrus, OH 44820).
