He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Barnett and Ora Barnett; and his siblings, Chuck Barnett, Larry Barnett, Greg Barnett, Roger Barnett, Denzil Barnett, Vince Barnett, Diane Cox, Dorothy Bowe, Rose Smith, Phyllis Endicott and Pearl Woodruff.
He is survived by: his wife Gincy (Lee); his sons, Ronnie Barnett, Jr. of Mansfield and Bill Barnett of Mansfield; and his sister Jackie McKenzie of Florida. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
