He is survived by: his girlfriend Ginger Meadows; his children, Heather Gerster and Scott Gerster; his stepchildren, Cassandra, Michelle, Eric, John, Amy and Christine; his grandchildren, Brayden Valgas, Dailyn Valgas, Hayden Gerster and Riley Gerster; and his sisters, Rosann Gerster and Jolene Shawber (Troy). He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
