He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Jr. and Millie (Laney); his brothers, David Dean, Richard and Jeff Laney; his sisters-in-law, Jan Laney and Cindy Isaac (Bo); and his daughter Kandi Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Renee Laney; his children, John Laney (Taylor), Nick Fuller, Jamie Tackett (Justin) and Sandra Cook (Robert); his grandchildren, Aaron, Aurora, Averie, Zander, Keegan, Brayden, Ryder, Braxton, Mackenzie, Hezekiah and Alex; his babysister Debra Burton (Ronnie); and his sister-in-law Tina Mitchell (Richard).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory (33 N Gamble St, Shelby, OH 44875). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made out to the Laney Family in the care of Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory to assist with funeral expenses.
