With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Ann Mercer of Creston, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on February 24, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leroy Richardson and Minnie Richardson (Miksch); and her husband William Mercer. She is survived by : her daughters, Pam Hostetler (Jeff) of Creston, Amy Mercer of Creston and Melissa Smetiouk (Max) of Delaware, Ohio; her grandchildren, Drew Hostetler (Jenna), Taylor Hostetler, Felicia Mercer, Kyle Smetiouk and Connor Smetiouk; and her great grandchild Ivy Rose Hostetler.
