He was predeceased by : his parents, Milo Cochrell and Marie Cochrell (Lance); and his brother Neal. He is survived by : his wife Virginia Kline; his children, Steve Cochrell (Kay) of Mansfield and Sandy Steward (Richard) of Wooster; and his grandchildren, Matt Cochrell (Catherine) of Columbus and Rachel Steward of Wooster.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Life Care Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691 or West View Healthy Living Chaplain Fund.
