She was predeceased by: her husband Dillon W. Staas, Jr.; her parents, Bernard Guy Stoddard and Samantha Jane Stoddard (Haver); her siblings, Tom and Dorothy; and her grandson Christopher.
She is survived by: her children, Dillon Staas (Rebecca), Guy Staas (Sandy), Janie Strasser (Leon), Karl Staas (Cheryl), Donald Staas (Theresa), Shara Bowsher (Dennis), Nora Williams (Danny) and Ginger Fox (Doug); her sister Sue Cress; and her close friends, Jeff and Teresa Grogg. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren, 2 great, great, grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church (105 E Main St, Elida, OH 45807). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Johnny Appleseed Park District or LifeWise Academy.
