He is survived by: his wife Diana Decker Chess of Cridersville; his sons, Jason Chess (Alycia) of Lexington, KY and Carey Chess (Lonny Hadding) of Wapakoneta; his grandchildren, Derek Hadding, Braden Chess, Katelyn Hadding, Bentley Hadding and Elisabeth Borkowski; his brother Greg Chess; and his stepchildren, Joe Santaguida and Erica Yee (Tonya).
