He was predeceased by: his daughter Thomasina Watkins-Pruitt (Drenessa); his grandparents, Denver, Gertrude Watkins and Talmor Cole; and his great-grandparent Henrietta Luster.
He is survived by: his children, Joshua Watkins, Amy Spencer (Matthew), Amber Watkins (Jospeh) and Naomi Brenneman; his parent Daelyn Gable; his uncle Ruben Watkins of Florence; his aunt Kathleen Amerson of Lima; and his close friends, Bill Seddens Sr., Willie Knight Sr. and Demetrius Haywood. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren.
