He is survived by: his children, Kim McManes, Mikey Bates, Cheryl Bates and Brooklyn Watts; his grandchildren, Preston Bates, Jayden Bates and Isabella McManes; and his siblings, George Bates (Jennifer), Jim Bates (Candy) and Teresa Muschott. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
