He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Small and Mildred J. Swain Small; and his wife Evelyn Bills Small. He is survived by: his son David Small (Allison) of Gallipolis, Ohio; his grandchildren, Corey Small (Haley) of Crown City and Lesley Short (Cory) of Crown City; his great grandchildren, Evelyn Small and Lainey Small; and his siblings, Maralene Watson, Geraldine Sheets, Sharon Barnes (Bill), Carol Bailey, Shelba Lanning (Robert), Becky Lloyd (Dwight), Cathy Pope (Tom), Jack Small and Charles Small. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
