He was predeceased by: his wife Sherry Simmons; his parents, Delsie Simmons and George Simmons; his nephew Robert Yankovich; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Starcher.
He is survived by: his children, Ashley Simmons, Jeffrey Starcher, Roger Starcher and Patricia Burgess; his sisters, Maria Yankovich, Lana Ando and Karen Jones; and his grandchildren, Aaliyah, Dezirae, Chelsea, Brandon, Tyler, Jaden, Ashley, Logan and Savannah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, along with extended family members and friends.
