She is survived by: her children, Heather Zindash (Chris) and Adam Kiser (Marianna) of Doylestown; her grandchildren, Bella, Zoe, Mark, Benjamin, Maia and Ethan; her siblings, Carol Lloyd (Larry) and John Mondl; and her cousins, Barbara Wulff, Andrea Dorsey (Michael), Anne Cooper (Howard), Stuart Austin and Laura Austin.

Nancy and Priscilla Glynn lit a candle

“I was deeply saddened to hear of Joy's passing. My sister, Priscilla Glynn, was Joy's friend and coworker at ATF. We attended a lovely luncheon in May 2013 where Joy spoke about "America's Other Audubon." We sent all her books to our cousins on the West Coast and Joy's beautiful books helped us reconnect through our love of nature. Her loving spirit and legacy will live on through experiences like this. I hope such thoughts ease the pain of those who love her.”
