Peter Piglia Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pascal Piglia and Helen Piglia; and his sister-in-law Sandy Piglia. He is survived by: his son Mike; his wife Marylee Piglia (Houman); his children, Michael Piglia (Beth), Darryl Piglia (Melissa) and Michele Piglia; his grandchildren, Trey Pitman (Julia), Maxwell Pitman, Luke Piglia (Hannah), Sloan Piglia, Frank Piglia, Michael Piglia, Cali Corbett (Justin), Alexandra Piglia and Jamie Piglia; his great grandchildren, Peter, Jack, Amelia, Wyatt, Aurora, Domenic, Marco and Ellie; and his siblings, Pascal [Pat] Piglia, Joseph Piglia and Maria King (John). He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Inspiring young people to pursue their interests in science, technology, engineering and math was important to Pete, and he furthered that effort by serving as a Board Member of the Akron Research Foundation through the University of Akron.
