It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Royce David Smart of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, who passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Smart Sr. (Geraldine Smart) and Royce; his siblings, Ralph Jr. and Jeanne Johnson; and his brothers-in-law, Stephen Otto and Bert Hiebert.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Smart (Johnston); his daughters, Kim Albertson (John) and Jill Sheppard (Christopher Fouser); his grandchildren, Terry Johnston, Tritt Copenhaver, Trinity Copenhaver, Jaxon Sheppard, Mallory Sheppard, Mazzy Wyrick and Zane Wyrick; his siblings, Geraldine Ann Otto, Georgeann Hiebert, Ron Smart (Donna) and Tim Smart (Margaret); his sister-in-law JudyKay Smart; and his friend Denny Ickes.
