He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ott and Marguerite "Sylvia" Ott; his wife Laverne; and his siblings, Howard Jr., James "Jim" and Gerry Lynn Johnston.
He is survived by: his children, William Jr. (Mary Beth), Michael Sr. (Lana) and Wendy Bisel (Paul); and his sister Adelyn Thomas (Mark). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home (1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of other remembrances memorial may be made to Arden Courts of Bath, 171 S Cleveland Massillon, Akron, OH 44333.
