He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Barnhisel and Helen Barnhisel (Loy); his wife Barbara S. Funk; his children, Scott Barnhisel (Dawn) of Custar, Michael Barnhisel (Becky) of Cygnet, Tim Barnhisel (Dianna) of Cygnet and Jill Barnhisel of Cygnet; his grandchildren, Josh Barnhisel (Stephanie), Jordan Barnhisel (Kara), Jared James, Alex James (Jessica), Cory Barnhisel (Jeanette), Chelsea Cook (Austin), Elizabeth Vehrs (Keith), Jackie Doyle (Keith), Phillip Palmer, Danielle Martinez (Tom), Taylor Barnhisel and Trey Barnhisel; his close friend Barb Kiel; his siblings, Ralph Barnhisel (Donna) and Marjorie Reynolds; his sister-in-law Helen George; his great grandchild Knox Bryant Vehrs; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Reynolds and Carl George.
