Clarabel Kurzen Obituary

We announce the death of Clarabel Kurzen (Dalton, Ohio), who passed away on August 6, 2026, at the age of 90. Clarabel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Clarabel will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Clarabel’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Douglas and Grace Douglas (Hofacre); her daughter Beth Cristine Kurzen; and her brother Floyd E. Douglas (Jackie). She is survived by: her husband Vaughn; and her daughter Brenda K. Kurzen of Norfolk, VA.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
