Donald A. Carpenter Obituary

We announce the death of Donald A. Carpenter of Dalton, Ohio, who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frantz Carpenter and Elizabeth Carpenter (Hopton); and his wife Marjorie A. Carpenter (Cunard). He is survived by: his children, Gary Carpenter (Priscilla), Lisa Liggett (David), Jodi Boyle (Ray), Mark Carpenter (Debbie) and Tina Pike (John); his sister Lola Lucido (Floyd); and his close friend Joan Dalessandro. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Canton Baptist Temple (515 Whipple Ave NW, Canton, OH 44708). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the Brookfield Cemetery (11400 Shaefer St NW, Massillon, OH 44647).

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Canton Baptist Temple.
