She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Smith and Dolores Smith (Holden); her former husbands, Richard Shade and Richard Philips; her husband Roger Dixon; and her sons, Michael, Ronald and Richard Shade.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynne Schultz (Dave) of Hattiesburg, MS, Mary Miller (Adam) of East Sparta, OH and Kathi Bates (Don) of Dalton; her sisters, Janet Pfab (Joseph) of Pittsburgh, PA and Jackie Smith of Pittsburgh, PA; and her daughter-in-law Marie Shade of North Lawrence. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish - St. Barbara (2813 Lincoln Way W, Massillon, OH 44647). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
