She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Smith and Dolores Smith (Holden); her former husbands, Richard Shade and Richard Philips; her husband Roger Dixon; and her sons, Michael, Ronald and Richard Shade.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynne Schultz (Dave) of Hattiesburg, MS, Mary Miller (Adam) of East Sparta, OH and Kathi Bates (Don) of Dalton; her sisters, Janet Pfab (Joseph) of Pittsburgh, PA and Jackie Smith of Pittsburgh, PA; and her daughter-in-law Marie Shade of North Lawrence. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
