Nancy Blacksten Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Blacksten (Dalton, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane Frantz and Mabel Frantz (Boughman); her children, Michell R. Fields and Logan Blacksten; her granddaughter Mikayla; her siblings, Larry Frantz (Jeannie), William Frantz and Margaret Shane; and her former husband Gerald L. "Toad" Blacksten.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Shana Fields of Blakely, PA and David Fields of Candy; her brother Glen Frantz (Barb) of Kidron; her sister-in-law Carol Frantz of Brewster; her children-in-law, Connie Blacksten of Wooster and Buddy "Bud" Fields of Massillon; and her friend Pat Paul of Massillon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
