It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles F. Smetana (Danville, Ohio), who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Smetana and Margaret Smetana (Bartl); and his son Mark Czempinski. He is survived by: his wife Stella Smetana (Zawalna); his sons, Gordon Smetana (Jennifer), John Charles Smetana and Christopher Smetana (Laura); his grandchildren, Audri Smetana (John Corbin), Micaihla Longo and Maylee Longo; his great grandchild J. J. Corbin; his siblings, Alan Smetana (Brenda) and Cindy Wilson (Pete); and his daughter-in-law Michelle Czempinski. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
