He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Laney and Mae Laney (Smith); his former wife Wanda Laney; and his siblings, Hobert, Ed, Dave, James, Robert "Bob", Wade Laney, Cordilly, Mary Ann and Daisy.
He is survived by: his spouse Johnnie Laney (Stephens); his daughter Vicky Anderton of Danville; and his grandchildren, Travis Parson, Joshua Parson, Victoria Smith and Faith Keneda. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Hope Cemetery (2540 Noble Rd W, Shiloh, OH 44878).
